Urban Leaf is a hydroponic vertical farm that grows fresh, pesticide-free vegetables using less water and space than traditional farming.
  • The problem
Urban Leaf addresses two interconnected challenges in Lebanon: environmental pressure from conventional agriculture and limited access to fresh, safe, locally produced food. Lebanon faces water scarcity, limited arable land, climate change, rising farming costs, and economic instability. Conventional agriculture can be land- and water-intensive and often relies on pesticides and chemical inputs, while long supply chains increase transportation, food loss, and dependence on external suppliers.
  • Your solution
Our main solution is fresh, pesticide-free leafy greens grown through vertical hydroponic farming, which we supply to supermarkets, restaurants, and consumers in Lebanon.
Our long-term goal is to expand this model across Lebanon, increasing local food production while reducing pressure on land and water resources and building a more resilient, sustainable, and community-centered food system.
