The extensive use of music in geometry dash lite is what sets it apart from other platformers. Each level is structured around an electronic track, and the obstacles' tempo, arrangement, and flow are all dictated by the beat of the music. Each level becomes more of a rhythmic performance than an obstacle course because the timing of jumps, spikes, and transitions is usually dead on. With practice, players develop an aural and visual sense of the music, allowing them to better anticipate obstacles. A strong feeling of flow, so unusual in mobile games but incredibly rewarding when achieved, is the result of the integration of sound and gameplay.
