Strengthening Jordan–China Cooperation in Renewable Energy
As part of its continued efforts to expand international cooperation and build strategic partnerships, a delegation from the Renewable Energy Establishments Society and Energy Management (REES) visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Jordan.
REES was represented by Eng. Tameem AlZoabi, Vice President, and Mr. Waleed As’ad, Board Secretary.
The meeting explored opportunities for joint cooperation and partnerships in renewable energy and energy management, with particular emphasis on advanced technologies and innovative solutions that can support the sector’s sustainable growth.
The discussions also addressed opportunities for knowledge exchange, education, and professional capacity building through the REES Academy.
REES extends its sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Jordan for the warm welcome and constructive dialogue. We look forward to building on this engagement and creating meaningful opportunities that contribute to continued growth, innovation, and prosperity in the renewable energy sector.

REES Participates in Technical Consultation on ATS Requirements for Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems 🇯🇴⚡
Today, Eng. Waleed As'ad & Eng. Nasri Amara participated in a technical meeting held at the هيئة تنظيم قطاع الطاقة والمعادن-EMRC to discuss the proposed technical specifications for Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) protection systems for hybrid renewable energy projects.
The meeting brought together representatives from the renewable energy sector to review the technical requirements and support practical, safe, and effective implementation within Jordan’s electricity distribution companies (JEPCO)(Irbid Electricity Company)(شركة توزيع الكهرباء EDCO).
As part of the consultation process, Renewable Energy Establishments Society and Energy Management (REES) has received the ATS technical specification for industry review and invites renewable energy companies, EPCs, engineers, and technical specialists to review the document and provide comments, observations, or recommendations.
